GEMA group has experts in analytical and numerical modelling of the mechanical behaviour of materials and their damage evolution, with an emphasis in fracture of multilayer, geometrically complex and biomimetic ceramic systems and ceramic-based composites:

• Various capable workstations.
• Multiphysics numerical simulation suite ABAQUS (perpetual license).
• Access to Lusitania (I, II and III) supercomputers at CENITS.
